Fuerte Action for the Ocean Initiative

The CEO and owner of Fuerte Action, Orlando Lavandera, was a pioneer of the cleaning up beaches movement during events. Already in a big wave windusrfing event organized in 2009, The Fuerte Wave Classic, amateurs and pro riders alike had scheduled inside the competition days a time to do a clean up of one of the spots of the competition. Together with amazing volunteers from the area and local government support, we stablished a seed that was to be repeated in many events by different event organisers after that.
